Spam Assassin is a free, powerful and fully automated anti-spam solution that can be easily enabled on your email accounts. Just set it an forget it, and it will scan all incoming emails and either delete the suspected spam or mark the subject with [SPAM] for you to process later.

SpamAssassin uses a variety of spam detection techniques, that include DNS-based and checksum-based spam detection, Bayesian filtering, external programs, blacklists and online databases.

To enable Spam Assassin simply login to your account, click on the E-Mail icon, and click the AntiSpam icon next to each mailbox.

For best results we recommend the following settings:

Required Points: 3.5-4.5 (lower is stronger, we use 4 on our accounts)
Spam Assassin mode: Delete
Network Tests: Razor, Pyzor, DCC
Language: English (or choose multiple languages)

All other setting can remain as default.
